What’s so special about a BURANE® laser treatment?
The Er:YAG laser system targets the problem areas of the skin and treats them gently yet effectively. Its high precision makes it particularly suitable for rejuvenating and renewing the skin, and for removing pigment spots and superficial lesions. It can treat a wide range of skin problems and blemishes, including warts, moles, (actinic) keratoses, xanthelasma, scars, acne scarring and wrinkles.
Unlike conventional CO2 lasers, the Er:YAG laser uses a process called cold ablation (removal). It treats the skin without heat, in controlled stages and only on small areas at a time, using many microscopically small treatment bursts. It does this without causing heat damage to the surrounding healthy tissue. This treatment is also much less painful than conventional methods and healing is much faster because the treatment doesn’t create any large wound surfaces.
